François Floc'h,artist and painter, was born in Scaër, a small town (Finistère, Brittany). He studied at the Fine Arts School (Rennes). His first exhibition in an art gallery took place in Nantes (1974, art gallery Bourlaouen). Figurative artist, painter of the metaphoric garden at first, Floc'h moves perceptibly towards a geometric abstraction at the time of his second exhibition in Absidial (1991). He lives in Orvault, near Nantes.
